Whether you wish to use The Bateman as the base for your holiday, a short stop off on your way to somewhere else, or just an overnight retreat after a local meeting, you will find that we can welcome you into a friendly and comfortable atmosphere of traditional style and modern convenience.

All of our rooms, both those in the main building itself and those in the "Coach House", share the same high standards and attention to detail. All rooms are en-suite, with either bath or shower, provide remote control, digital television, tea and coffee making facilities, bath robes (on request) and a hair dryer. BT Openzone Public Wi-Fi internet access is also available, and two of the rooms are suitable for families of up to two adults and two children.

We can also provide, by prior arrangement, a secure 'baby-sitting' service to our guests. Please contact us for further details.

Our Room Rates

From 1st April to 31st September: All rooms are £95 per room, per night bed and breakfast. All our rooms are either double or twin, and the price for single occupancy is £60.

Between 1st October and 31st March it is £85 per room, or £55 for single occupancy.

Well behaved dogs are welcome. A surcharge of £10 for the duration of their stay will be added. We do ask though that you consult a member of staff before bringing them into the public areas, as we have dogs of our own.
