Welcome to the Bar.

The Bar area offers a warm and welcoming environment to sit and relax, or just while away a few hours in the company of freinds. The open fire makes it a snug and cozy place in winter, while the large windows mean it is open and airy in the height of summer.

Decorated in traditional style and furnished with comfort in mind, the bar is the 'heart' of The Bateman Arms. A meeting place for local residents, tourists and various local clubs and groups, whenever you drop by there is usually something going on...

We serve a wide range of alcoholic drinks, soft drinks and beverages, as well as a bar menu of 'light bites' and snacks. Whatever your fancy we're sure you will find something to 'tickle the taste buds'.

If you fancy something a little more 'competitive' then there is always our Games Room. Demonstrate your prowess at Pool or Darts, or alternatively, stand back and marvel as others try to demonstrate theirs!
